Alvarez del rancho Rosa de Castilla?

By bealca | 2:06 AM MST, Mon June 19, 2017

Sabe alguien sobre familias Alvarez provenientes de un lugar/rancho llamado Rosa de Castilla cerca de Arandas? En mi familia se dice que son parientes de los García y/o Velázquez, pero yo no encuentro la conexión.
__
Does anybody know of any Alvarez families from a Ranch called Rosa de Castilla near Arandas? They're supposed to have family links with García and or Velázuez.

Gracias/thanks

Alvarez del rancho Rosa de

Felipe de Jesus Alvarez del Castillo was married to Maria Teresa Garcia. One of his sons is found marrying in 1748 in Ayo el Chico, Jalisco. Felipe de Jesus Alvarez del Castillo is also from “rancho Rosa del Castillo.”

Bealca,

By chance, I think I just found exactly what you’re looking for. This Información Matrimonial connects all of the clues you provided: ALVAREZ, GARCIA, VELASQUES, and ROSA de CASTILLA.

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-F398-P4?i=327&cc=1874591&cat=294077

Información Matrimonial: Santiago ALVARES & Librada VELASQUES
Arandas, 1873
In it, Santiago states that he is from Rosa de Castilla and that his mother is Dolores GARCIA.

From what I know, Santiago's direct ascendant line is:
Juan Álvarez del Castillo (tronco)
↘Nicolás Álvarez de Castillo
↘Ramón Álvarez del Castillo
↘Nicolás Álvarez del Castillo
↘Antonio Álvarez del Castillo
↘Juan Manuel Álvarez del Castillo
↘José Vicente Nicolás Álvarez del Castillo
↘Pablo Ygnacio Álvarez
↘Santiago Álvarez=Librada Velásquez

I hope this helps.

Albares u Olibares?

¿No será que haya confusión con el apellido? En el rancho Rosa de Castilla en los años 1825 y 1826 hay varios Olibares viviendo allí pero ningún Albares.

Could it be that there is some confusion regarding the family name? In the years 1825 and 1826 there are various individuals with the last name Olibares living in Rosa de Castilla but not a single Albares.

Olivares Olibares

Many times the Olibares was mistaken and written in the Familysearch records as Albares
