My name is Lucy Jennings Sweeney. I have just uploaded the Gedcom for my
maternal line, which is entirely in Jalisco. Thank you, Arturo. Here are
the areas of Jalisco, the family lines, and the ranchos I have found in
my research.
In the Jalostotitlán area - Lozano and Muños lines:
- Eleno Lozano was born on Rancho Rincon de Chavez (San Miguel).
- Salomé Muños was born on Rancho La Estanzuela.
- The Lozano/ Muños children were born on Ranchos El Peñon, La Laguna,
and El Potrero Blanco.
In the Mascota area - Ramírez/ Aréchiga line:
- They lived on Hacienda de Aguacatepec, Hacienda Los Volcanes, and in
Atenguillo.
In the Tecolotlán area – Medina line
In the Puerto Vallarta area – Ramírez/ Medina and Mantecón lines:
- Rancho El Coapinole
All lines converge in Puerto Vallarta in the early 1900’s.
