Cecilia Lopez and Ortiz de San Pedro

Por hfaizcorbe | 2:15 PM MST, Mar Agosto 21, 2007

I have a Sebastian de Luna married around 1680 to Josefa Lozano, from Aguascalientes. The only Sebastian de Luna I've found around that time and region is the son of Luis de Luna and Josefa de Haro, or Esquivelm christened in Tlaltenango on 10 February, 1659. Could anyone confirm if he is the one married to Josefa Lozano?

Thank you,

I have anecdotally found that children were often named for a grandparent and they were given the ENTIRE name, including surname of the grandparent. For girls, this would often imply giving them the surname of their maternal grandmother! > > BTW, what was the date of Luis Luna's wedding?> -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- > Nuestros Ranchos Research Mailing List> > To post, send email to:> research(at)nuestrosranchos.org> > To change your subscription, log on to:> http://www.nuestrosranchos.org> > > > ---------------------------------> Choose the right car based on your needs.
