I don't know if you sent this e-mail to me specifically or to the group in general, but since I am a Garcia, here's what I know about my Garcia side:
---Zaturnino GARCIA is my father's name and he was born in Monte Redondo, baptized in Cruillas, Tamaulipas. I have not been able to get any information on either of his parents or grandparents except for what appears on his birth certificate:
-his parents were Ascencion GARCIA and Felisitas HERNANDES,
-paternal grandparents were Francisco GARCIA and Maria Andrea ALCALA,
-maternal grandparents were Nestor HERNANDES and Teofila AGUILAR.
- - -And that's all I know. I have no indication that any of Dad's family comes from Jalisco (which is where my mother's Sandoval family comes from), but ironically, I have found the last name ALCALA in Jalisco records but not a trace in Tamaulipas. I have not brought it up in the NR site because I have no indication Dad's ALCALA family comes from Jalisco, but who knows? If any of these names sound familiar, please let me know, any leads will be much appreciated.
