I am Helen Femat Fisher. My family members come from Aguascalientes.
My grandfather, Tiburcio Femat was born in San Jose de Jesus Maria, Aguascalientes. His parents Hermenegildo Femat and wife Antonia Montanez de Femat were from Aguascalientes, Aguas.
My father Raul Femat, was born in Aguascalientes, Aguas. we tried to get his birth certificate but it had burned in a fire. We were able to get his b aptism cert. As far as I have been able to tell, Antonia Montanez parents Tiburcio Montanez Reyes and Simona Richarte were both from Aguascalientes, A.
My grandmother, Francisca Perez, was born in Rincon Grande, Jalisco, her mother was Justa Gonzalez Montanez de Perez from Ojuelos Ledesma, Jalisco. Her father was Pedro Perez, I asume from the same area. Justa's father was Secundino Gonzalez married to Ysabel Montanez. I know that my grandmother's Montanez and my grandfather's Montanez side were connected. Thank you for trying to help me. Helen

It appears someone at LDS is researching your family as well, since there are a number of entries of your ancestors in the IGI that indicate they were submitted by an LDS member. Is it you by any chance?

Here is another interesting entry that may or may not be your ancestor but the dates seem to match and the fact that this woman's father's name was Tiburcio makes me think that the information in my previous message which was included in the IGI from an individual's pedigree rather than an actual extraction of a record may be incorrect... both Hermengildo's father's name and perhaps the location of the marriage.
If this is the correct Simona Richarte, the name Tiburcio in your family comes from the Richarte side not the Femat side. You should also note that Femat is spelled Femad, Fermad, Fermat, etc. in the records.

Aguas, Aguas are pretty complete. Have you tried looking on some of
these films at your local family history center? What year was your
father born? then again his birth certificate might not give you more
info than you already have on his baptism cert.

if any of the batch numbers there match any of your research locations.
This might help in your search for those relatives that are back in the
1870's-1880's and before.
