HELP TRANSLATING DOCUMENTS

By VCARROLA | 9:50 AM MST, Sat January 19, 2019

Hello,

I am asking for help translating this document from the Family Search Guadalajara Marriage dispensations. Microfilm 168605, Guadalajara Dispensas 1700-1705, Image 312, # 223.

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9392-DJLN-W?i=312&wc=125126…

This document is from 1702, about Nicolas de Escamilla from Aguascalientes. I am trying to determine if he is or is related to my my ancestor, Nicolas Joseph de Escamilla who married Michaela de Lomeli and then Maria Quiteria de Alfaro Perez in Jalisco. His son, Juan Manuel de Escamilla married Maria Quiteria de Alfaro Perez in Ayo el Chico in 1727.

I am not able to read or understand the document.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
virginia Carrola

Daughter-in-law, and not second wife

Dear Virginia,

Nicolas Joseph de Escamilla who married Michaela de Lomeli was not married a second time to Maria Quiteria de Alfaro Perez. María Quiteria was his daughter-in-law only, and not his wife.

Virginia,
The NICOLAS ESCAMILLA on the record is from Aguascalientes. His parents are Juan de Escamilla and Margarita Gomez (both death). The bride is JUANA MARIA GONZALEZ resident of Guadalajara. She is the widow of Francisco de Arellanos. The document is just a testimony from several witnesses confirming that Francisco de Arellanos is death and was buried in the cathedral, 2 years before. the bride and the groom didn't have consanguineous relationship. I hope this helps
